There are a number of different ways to infuse your delicious dishes with cannabis and it comes down to personal preference and your comfort level in the kitchen. Keep reading to find out what three methods we recommend to infuse your Thanksgiving dinner with cannabis and how to choose the right method for you!
Cannabutter, aka cannabis infused butter, is a simple method of infusing regular butter with a cannabis strain of your choosing. The first step to making cannabutter is to “decarb” the flower. Cannabis doesn’t actually produce THC; it produces an acidic cannabinoid known as THCA which needs to be activated through heat before producing THC. This is a crucial first step; without you, your finished product will have little to no effect on you.

Similar to cannabutter, cannabis infused oil is a simple marriage of cannabis and your desired oil. Coconut and canola oil are two of the most common oils used, as they are incredibly versatile. Also like cannabutter, you must decarb your cannabis flower before creating the infused oil. You can activate the cannabis in the oven, as described in our recipe link below, or by sous vide, as explained by Leafly.

Arguably the easiest way to infuse a recipe with cannabis is by using a tincture. Tinctures provide you a consistent, reliable dose and are a great way for you to get comfortable cooking with cannabis.
Choose from a Full Spectrum THC Tincture, Distillate Tincture, CBD/THC Tincture, or CBD Tincture.
